Poetry Is…
A bright sunny day
A turbulent storm
A story told in verse
A blank page
A blank page
Poetry can be your
Escape
Prison
Sanctuary
Torcher chamber
Something that can
Please you
But hurt you somehow
What Happens To A Dream?
Does it shrivel up and die?
Does it live off your thoughts
and drive you wild?
Does it play again and again?
Do you want it no longer to stay?
Or do you want to keep it
FOREVER?
Autour d’Elle: Mark Chagall
As illusions circle around your life
The good times begin to grow smaller
And more misty
While the turbulent storm clouds
Fill the scene
As far away as she may seem
She’s always alive
Inside
Sometimes, you just need to look
To find the memory
Good times are not
Experienced
They are only
Remembered
